Pluto Protest Song

Ripped from the headlines! Or something. I picked up my guitar about a week ago for the first time in ages. I thought I might write a song today on a particular subject, but instead I wrote one about something else. I was spurred by the ongoing unrest over whether Pluto should be called a planet or not. I could go on at length about my feelings, but I seem to have written an under-two minute song instead.  It's kind of pointed, but I'm not referring to actual people just kind of the overall gestalt that's surrounding the issue. If you feel called out (or think I'm calling someone out), it's not intentional.

Enjoy, or whatever. :)  There are a few seconds of silence prior to things kicking off.

Two Covers from Dr. Lüst

Just back from a long trip, and still settling back in. I've had a couple of reminders of songs that we used to do in Dr. Lüst and the Chiefs of the European Space Agency, so if only to get the earworms out of my head, here are our cover versions of the two songs I heard out in the wild recently, recorded something like 27-28 years ago:

Here Comes Your Man (at WMBR)
Feel A Whole Lot Better (at the 1991 East Campus Picnic)

I sing the first one, Pat sings the second (though you can hear Pat give the intro to the first and my backing vocals on the second). We tried to make up in energy what we lacked with skill. Whether we succeeded or not I can't say, but we had fun trying. :)
